As of January 01, 2017, the new region-based minimum monthly wages for workers in enterprises shall exceed the current ones by VND 180,000 to 250,000, as follows:
- VND 3,750,000/month, applicable to the enterprises that operate in region I;
- VND 3,320,000/month, applicable to the enterprises that operate in region II;
- VND 2,900,000/month, applicable to the enterprises that operate in region III;
- VND 2,580,000/month, applicable to the enterprises that operate in region IV;
- Region I, region II, region III and region IV are defined in annexes to the Decree.
Decree No. 153/2016/ND-CP replaces the Government’s Decree No. 122/2015/ND-CP dated November 14, 2015.
